JUNE 8TH – JUNE 13TH 2026

Known as the “Shark Island of the Maldives,” Fuvahmulah is unlike any other atoll in the country — a single-island gem surrounded by deep ocean drop-offs that draw in tiger sharks year-round. This 6-day, 5-night expedition blends raw adventure with boutique comfort: earn your Open Water dive certification (or just rack up dives if you’re already certified), encounter tiger sharks at the world-famous Tiger Point, and explore some of the richest pelagic waters on earth.

You’ll stay at the Shark Residence, a modern boutique property with just 11 rooms, rooftop pool, panoramic views, and full-board dining included (breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily). With its small size and personalized service, it keeps the focus where it belongs — on the dives and the camaraderie of the group.

The package includes up to 10 dives, full scuba equipment, the round-trip domestic flight from Malé to Fuvahmulah, and daily transfers. In between dives, relax with WiFi, AC, and ocean-view downtime — or grab a scooter rental to explore the island at your own pace. Beyond the tiger sharks, divers often encounter threshers, reef sharks, mantas, and other pelagics in Fuvahmulah’s legendary blue water.

• Private room upgrade: +$137.50 total
• Already certified diver: –$235.90 discount

Tour Location

Fuvahmulah, Maldives — the only island of its kind in the world, known as the “Shark Island” where tiger sharks roam year-round.

Fuvahmulah is the hidden gem of the Maldives — a remote island unlike any other in the archipelago. Known as “Shark Island,” it’s one of the few places on Earth where divers can reliably encounter tiger sharks year-round. Beyond its waters, the island is alive with local culture, volcanic lakes, and black pebble beaches that make it feel worlds apart from the postcard resorts of the Maldives. This is raw adventure paired with authentic island life.
Booking your adventure is simple. Here’s how it works:

1. Fill Out the "Book This Tour" Form on This Page

Enter your name, email, trip dates, and the number of spots you’d like to reserve. This let's you check availability for your chosen expedition.

Date Selection Note:
This can be a bit confusing. It's not "today's date", it's the date of the expedition (which is located on the "Information" tab of the tour). You have to know the date of the expedition and then use the arrow keys to navigate to that month and year. Once you've found it on the calendar, select any of the days that are highlighted and it will complete the date field for you.

2. Click “Check Availability”

Once you've filled out the required fields, you'll be able to check to see if the tickets are available by tapping the "Check Availability" button. This step ensures your group size can be accommodated. Think of it as a quick “pre-check” before locking things in.

3. Hit “Book Now”

Submitting this form does not charge your card or confirm your reservation yet — it simply sends us your request.

4. Receive Confirmation & Payment Link

Once you hit "Book Now" on the form, you'll receive a confirmation and a PayPal payment link to officially secure your spot. Once payment is confirmed, our team will be in touch within 24 hours to introduce ourselves, confirm your reservation, and send over a detailed pre-trip guide — including currency tips, what to pack, and essential travel best practices.

✅ Important Note:
• Submitting the booking form is just an inquiry. Your reservation is only guaranteed once payment is completed on the next step.
• Prefer to just put down a deposit to save your spot? No problem — let me know and I’ll send you a custom payment link.
